DEEBAR commenced business in 1976, concentrating originally on the manufacturing and supplying of electrical products to the mining industry, but has now expanded into other markets.  The group now covers all market segments, with emphasis on quality on service.  The company continually strives to bring the latest technology to all facets of its business.

DEEBAR's growth has been affected by several factors, one of the most important being the acquisition of other operations.  These have added to and allowed DEEBAR to expand it's product range.

The company's strength over the years has been its marketing and sales service, which has lead to the establishment of a national sales network with branches and distributors in many of the surrounding provinces.

DEEBAR with it's 50 years experience in manufacturing and supplying a full range of underground shaft signalling equipment used for the transportation of men & material, both the Lockbell and Callbell units have been designed and manufactured to the highest standard.

DEEBAR, presently exports to Russia, Australia, Canada, the Fiji Islands and a number of African countries.

Today DEEBAR is a forerunner in the manufacturer and supplier of interlocking systems, communication systems and switchgear systems.

DEEBAR also owns its own engineering works, where it designs and manufacturers    steel pallets and drums that support conveyor belting, in various sizes.   DEEBAR also manufactures stopping devices for underground vehicles.

While DEEBAR products are traditionally known and used within the mining sector, we have acquired a number of renowned agencies and actively market their products.

DEEBAR FIBER is a service oriented company with focus on fibre optic industrial communication systems / solutions.  The company installs and maintains a wide range of fibre optic cables & interface equipment for deep level underground communication systems, interfacing equipment for computer networking, instrumentation control, CCTV & access control, factory automation.  This has allowed the company to grow at an alarming rate having multiple splicing teams available.

DEEBAR CARLETONVILLE is situated in the heart of the Mining Industry in the North West Province of South Africa, which ensures efficient service within the area.  Established 19 years ago, this outlet supplies the full range of Deebar products specifically to the mining industry.

DEEBAR RUSTENBURG is located in the centre of the Platinum Mining Industry in the North West Province of South Africa.  This branch supplies Electrical & Mechanical equipment to both Mines and surrounding Industry.
